1 lb Pasta

2 cups Fresh basil leaves

5/16 cup Pine nuts
-
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

3 whole Garlic cloves
-
1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil

1 tbsp Lemon juice
-
1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.
- In a food processor, combine basil, pine nuts, Parmesan, and garlic.
- Pulse until finely chopped.
- With processor running, slowly drizzle in olive oil until smooth.
- Add lemon juice and salt. Pulse to combine.
- Toss hot pasta with pesto, adding pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and pine nuts.
