Pat salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 5 minutes without moving.

Flip and cook for 3-4 minutes more until salmon flakes easily.

Remove salmon and set aside. Lower heat to medium.

Add butter and garlic to pan, cook for 1 minute.
Step 7 of 7
Stir in lemon juice and parsley. Pour sauce over salmon and serve.
