  • 1 large Onion, diced
  • 2 whole Bell peppers, diced
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 28 oz can Crushed tomatoes
  • 30 oz cans Kidney beans
  • 3 tbsp Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 2 cups Beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large pot over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onion and peppers, cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add garlic, chili powder, and cumin. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in crushed tomatoes, kidney beans, beef broth, and tomato paste.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, and green onions.
