Ingredients

6 servings
  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Chili powder
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 12 whole Taco shells or tortillas
  • 2 cups Shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese
  • 1 cup Salsa

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add all spices and 1/2 cup water. Stir well.
  3. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until liquid is absorbed and beef is well seasoned.
  4. Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  5. Fill shells with seasoned beef.
  6. Top with lettuce, cheese, salsa, and your favorite toppings.

Tips & Notes

Make your own taco seasoning to avoid excess sodium and additives found in store-bought packets!
